Prof Carsten Rudolph

Dr. Carsten Rudolph is Professor for Cybersecurity at the Faculty of IT at Monash University, Melbourne, Australia. His research concentrates on information security, formal methods, cryptographic protocols, security of machine learning, nation-level cybersecurity policy and human aspects of security with a strong focus inter-disciplinary topics. He contributes to the development of secure solutions for digital health as well as future energy networks. Further, he drives scientific exchange between cybersecurity, law and organisational informatics.

Dr. Amin Sakzad has got a Ph.D. degree in Applied Mathematics from Amirkabir University of Technology (AUT), Tehran, Iran, 2011. He was a research visitor and a lecturer at Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada, in 2010. He was a research lecturer at AUT in 2011. Starting from Jan. 2012, he was a research fellow at Software Defined Telecommunications (SDT) Laboratory in the Department of Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering at Monash University under supervision of Prof. Emanuele Viterbo. Dr MD SAMIULLAH

Dr Md Samiullah (Sami) is an Assistant Lecturer in the Faculty of Information Technology, Monash University, and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute (MCRI), where he has been contributing to Vaccine Safety Surveillance since September 2022. His work integrates advanced data analytics, Bayesian modelling, and machine learning to support the monitoring and evaluation of vaccine safety and effectiveness.

I am a Senior Lecturer and the Director of Student Experience in the FIT at Monash University, and an associate investigator for OPTIMA ARC. I have earned my Ph.D. (2020) on the topic of optimal planning with deep neural networks, my MASc. (2016) on the topic of least-commitment partial-order planning and my BASc. in Industrial Engineering (2014) from University of Toronto.
