Dr Hourieh Khalajzadeh

Dr Hourieh Khalajzadeh is a Research Fellow in the HumaniSE Lab at Monash University. Hourieh’s research is situated at the intersection of software engineering and data science. She is currently looking at the human-centric issues in Software Engineering by mining software repositories and analysing the discussions between developers, recognising how developers interact with each other and the users, observing how users interact with the applications, etc.

Dr Abdul Khan

Efficient dynamic VM-consolidation
 

Dr Khan has worked as a lead investigator and project manager and executed several client funded applied research projects. His previous research was in high-speed data communications, fiber optic technologies, and network and cyber security. Dr Khan's current research focuses on developing efficient dynamic VM-consolidation for cloud based data centres with service level agreements and energy efficiencies. His new research interests are in the culture of cyber security, exploitation, policing and preventative strategy.

Assoc Prof Arun Konagurthu

I research in bioinformatics, a field that applies techniques from computer science, maths and stats -- statistical inference, information theory, data structures and algorithms, combinatorial optimisation etc. -- to address key computational challenges that arise in biological data.

Dr Carlo Kopp

Carlo Kopp is a Computer Science Lecturer at the Monash University Faculty of Information Technology, Clayton .

His primary research activities at Monash are currently in the areas of modelling deceptions in social and biological systems, perceptual and decision modelling, especially using information theory, and cognitive cycle modelling. He remains active in the area of ad hoc networks and associated propagation problems, and in distributed computing.

Dr Levin Kuhlmann

Levin is an Associate Professor in data science, AI and digital health. He is a data scientist, computational neuroscientist and neural engineer. His research areas include signal processing, control theory, machine learning, statistics and computational neuroscience applications to digital health, neural engineering, neuroimaging and medicine.
