I’ve been conducting research in the field of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) for over seven years. My research focuses on topics such as novel and effective interactions in immersive spaces (e.g., VR, AR), spatial cognition and perception (different types of memory in HCI), and AI integration with Immersive Analytics. Immersive Analytics (IA) is the core theme of our lab, meaning we are bringing data "out of computers and into the world around us". I’m now leading and working on several faculty-funded and industry-funded projects that conduct cross-disciplinary research on combining AI and Immersive Analytics in different domains (e.g., medical, construction, and education).
