Dr Chetan Arora is a senior lecturer in software engineering (SE), focusing on applied artificial intelligence (AI) in SE and other fields. He received his PhD degree from the University of Luxembourg (Luxembourg) with Prof. Lionel Briand and A/Prof. Mehrdad Sabetzadeh, has a Master's degree in SE from the Technische Universität Kaiserslautern (Germany) and a Bachelor's in Engineering (CS) degree from Thapar University (India). He is the recipient of the best PhD thesis award in the ICT domain at Uni Luxembourg.

I am a Lecturer in the Department of Software Systems and Cybersecurity of the Faculty of Information Technology. My research focuses on cryptography and its abundant intersections with fields such as machine learning, privacy and information theory. I have a keen interest in the design of cryptographic protocols to enhance privacy and some of my current investigations are into privacy-preserving machine learning and blockchain technologies.
