Derry WijayaPolitical polarization is a phenomenon that permeates societies worldwide, manifesting in divergent ideologies, entrenched viewpoints, and societal fragmentation. In the context of Indonesia, a diverse and populous nation with a complex socio-political landscape, understanding political polarization is crucial for fostering social cohesion and effective governance. However, despite the evident presence of political polarization within Indonesian society, the absence of a comprehensive political polarization corpus poses a significant impediment to the systematic analysis and understanding of this phenomenon. In this project, we will develop a corpus of social media posts annotated for polarization and analyzed based on political identities.
