Dr Chetan Arora is a senior lecturer in software engineering at Monash University. Dr Arora is passionate about requirements engineering, software quality assurance, and applied AI research. He has extensive experience in industry and academia, with a focus on responsible AI, trustworthy AI-driven systems, and compliance in software development. His work spans various domains, including space systems, healthcare, finance and legal information systems. He has played a key role in bridging industry and academia through applied research initiatives, with several research outcomes adopted in practice.

Dr Arora has won several best paper awards for his work and was the recipient of the best PhD thesis award in the ICT domain at Uni Luxembourg.
