Supervisors in Information Technology, Monash University
I am actively recruiting PhD candidates to undertake machine learning for biomedical imaging research.
The following funded research projects are open for applications -
(i) Machine learning based MRI and PET image reconstruction for motion correction, fast imaging and quantitative imaging.
(ii) Deep learning development for mobile MRI scanners and their clinical utility validation.
Xiao is currently a Research Fellow in the Faculty of Information Technology at Monash University. He obtained his Ph.D. from Swinburne University of Technology. His research lies in the security analysis of the Android operating system and its apps, including analyzing the security mechanisms of the Android framework, potentially harmful behaviours of Android apps, and privacy leaks of Android apps. His recent research has a special interest in evaluating mobile health (mHealth) apps regarding their security and privacy.
I am a Lecturer in the Department of Software Systems and Cybersecurity at the Faculty of Information Technology. I obtained my Ph.D. degree from the University of Auckland in 2019. Before joining Monash University, I was a Post-Doc researcher in the Large-Scale Data & Systems (LSDS) group in the Department of Computing at Imperial College London, UK.
My research interests include mobile and ubiquitous applications, mobile decision support systems, context-aware computing and situation reasoning, mobile health monitoring and chronic pain management, Internet of Things (IoT), and social media content analysis.
