Dr. Sicily Fung Fung Ting is a leading AI researcher and Senior Lecturer at Monash University Malaysia, where she leads the Precision Medicine and Predictive Modeling stream at the Medical AI Hub (MedAI-Hub). Her interdisciplinary research integrates explainable deep learning with neuroimaging and genomics to build diagnostic AI systems for brain aneurysms, stroke, and early-onset breast cancer in Asian women. She leads a multi-institutional effort leveraging AI to uncover population-specific cancer biomarkers and recurrence risks.

As NVIDIA Deep Learning Ambassador and IBRO Fellow, Dr. Ting’s work is internationally recognized, including WSIS and APICTA awards, and aligns with UN SDG 3. Her innovations aim to deliver scalable, human-centric AI for healthcare systems in Southeast Asia and beyond.
