I am Sanoop Mallissery, a Lecturer in the School of Information Technology at Monash University Malaysia. I hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science from National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU), Taiwan, where my research focused on Dependable Systems Security. My academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology and a Master's in Cyber Security, complemented by substantial experience across academic and industrial settings.

Professionally, I served as a Threat Research Engineer at TxOne Networks, Taiwan, contributing to advanced security solutions for Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and Operational Technology (OT) softwares. Prior to that, I spent four years as a Cybersecurity Engineer at the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), Taiwan, focusing on software vulnerability analysis and system-level security.

My research interests span dependable systems, data privacy, automated vulnerability discovery, and the security implications of human-AI interactions. I am particularly interested in the evolving risks posed by AI-assisted decision-making and in safeguarding critical infrastructure under real-world conditions.

I would be glad to engage in collaborative supervision or research projects, particularly those related to software securityhuman-centric AI risk, or industrial system resilience.

Please find more about my work and interests in this portfolio (https://git4san.github.io).

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on potential synergies.
