Dr. Lizhen Qu is a lecturer at the Vision and Language Group of Monash University. His research is at
the intersection of natural language processing, machine learning, causality and privacy,
with applications in digital health, legal AI, and cybersecurity.

Hamid Rezatofighi is a lecturer at the Faculty of Information Technology, Monash University, Australia. Before that, he was an Endeavour Research Fellow at the Stanford Vision Lab (SVL), Stanford University. He received his PhD from the Australian National University in 2015.  His research interest includes vision-based perception tasks, esp.

Rebecca Robinson is a Lecturer in the Department of Human Centred Computing. Rebecca's research focuses on equity and diversity considerations in computing education, and on developing and evaluating new pedagogical strategies for teaching foundational theoretical concepts in computer science.

Dr. Carsten Rudolph is Professor for Cybersecurity at the Faculty of IT at Monash University, Melbourne, Australia. His research concentrates on information security, formal methods, cryptographic protocols, security of machine learning, nation-level cybersecurity policy and human aspects of security with a strong focus inter-disciplinary topics. He contributes to the development of secure solutions for digital health as well as future energy networks. Further, he drives scientific exchange between cybersecurity, law and organisational informatics.

Jathan Sadowski is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Human Centred-Computing in the Faculty of Information Technology. He is also an Associate Investigator with the ARC Centre of Excellence for Automated Decision-Making & Society.

Dr. Amin Sakzad has got a Ph.D. degree in Applied Mathematics from Amirkabir University of Technology (AUT), Tehran, Iran, 2011. He was a research visitor and a lecturer at Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada, in 2010. He was a research lecturer at AUT in 2011. Starting from Jan. 2012, he was a research fellow at Software Defined Telecommunications (SDT) Laboratory in the Department of Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering at Monash University under supervision of Prof. Emanuele Viterbo. From Feb.

Dr Md Samiullah (Sami) is an Assistant Lecturer in the Faculty of Information Technology, Monash University, and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute (MCRI), where he has been contributing to Vaccine Safety Surveillance since September 2022. His work integrates advanced data analytics, Bayesian modelling, and machine learning to support the monitoring and evaluation of vaccine safety and effectiveness.

Dr Mirza Rayana Sanzana is an interdisciplinary researcher working at the intersection of artificial intelligence, energy systems engineering, sustainable infrastructure, and digital health. Trained in software engineering, computer science, and civil engineering, her work develops AI-driven, data-centric solutions for thermal and hybrid energy storage, renewable integration, smart-grid urban systems, and clinical/neurological applications of machine learning.
