Prof Peter Stuckey

My principal interests are in discrete optimization and programming languages, both areas underpinned by methods for reasoning about constraints.

I am also interested in the intersection of machine learning and optimization: e.g. the predict+optimize problem of predicting parameters to be used in optimization problems.

Juliana Sutanto

Juliana is a Professor in Information Systems. After obtaining her PhD in 2008 from School of Computing at National University of Singapore, she joined ETH Zurich as Chair of Management Information Systems. In August 2015, she moved to Lancaster University as Professor in Information Systems. Since January 2023, she is leading the Digital Equity and Digital Transformation Group in Department of Human-Centred Computing at Faculty of IT, Monash University.

Dr Zachari Swiecki

Zachari Swiecki is a Lecturer of Learning Analytics in the Faculty of Information Technology at Monash University.  He received his master's and Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he was a member of the Epistemic Analytics lab. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Alabama with a bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Physics.

Assoc Prof Guido Tack

Guido Tack is an Associate Professor at the Department of Data Science and AI, Faculty of Information Technology, Monash University.

Dr Stella Talic

Dr Stella Talic is a Senior Lecturer/Senior Research Fellow (~Assistant Professor) at the School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine where she holds a number of combined education and research leadership roles.

Assoc Prof David Taniar

Data is the new "Oil". The world most valuable resource is no longer oil, but data (The Economist May 2017). Any companies have data; large volume and often scattered data. Data is an important asset. So, research on data management will give you a lot of opportunities. Research on data management covers a wide range of aspects, from design, query algorithms, data structures, to data integration, data cleansing, and fusion. This includes the use of  big data technologies, such as cloud platform (e.g. clusters, fog/edge computing), and big data framework and tools (e.g.
