Reuben Kirkham

I am a Lecturer in Inclusive Technologies in the Faculty of Information Technology. Prior to joining Monash, I was the EPSRC Doctoral Prize Fellow in Computing at Newcastle University, UK.

Much of my research focuses on the development and design of novel assistive technologies. I am particularly interested in assistive technologies for evidence collection, such as systems for accessibility documentation in the built environment (e.g. WheelieMap), new technologies that can evidence levels of impairment, or systems that can help measure organisational compliance with discrimination legislation. I also have more general interests in research on the boundary of Law and Computer Science, especially in respect of novel justice systems and access to justice for litigants in person.
