I am currently a lecturer and researcher at Monash University Malaysia in the School of Information Technology, where I have worked since June 2022. My areas of expertise include time series analysis, bio-image processing, bio-signal processing, statistical modelling, pattern recognition, prediction and forecasting, and deep learning. My research uses these methods to investigate biomedical signal/image processing and classification.

If you are a designer, computer scientist, engineer, or social scientist that is looking to research real-world challenges, and you are interested in human-centred design methods or human-centred design methods, then you might be interested in working with me and the cross-disciplinary team at Action Lab to address Digital Civics challenges. Digital Civics is a new cross-disciplinary area of research that explores ways technology can promote new forms of participation in the design and delivery of public, commercial and humanitarian services, from education and public health to social care

Dinh Phung is a Professor of Machine Learning and Data Science in the Faculty of Information Technology, Monash University, Australia. He is a leading researcher at the forefront of theoretical and applied machine learning with a current focus on generative deep learning, Bayesian nonparametrics and graphical models, optimal transport and point process theory for machine learning.

Charlotte’s work focuses on designing and delivering world-leading, research-grounded and industry-informed educational materials, developing impactful teaching methods, and using technology to improve the quality of education. She influences and supports others to do the same through research publications and open-access materials.

Dr. Lizhen Qu is a lecturer at the Vision and Language Group of Monash University. His research is at
the intersection of natural language processing, machine learning, causality and privacy,
with applications in digital health, legal AI, and cybersecurity.
